The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing this Sources Sought Announcement for installation of mini-split ductless air conditioning/heat pump systems located aforementioned sites within the Naugatuck River Basin in Connecticut. This announcement is to determine interest, availability and capability of HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Small Business concerns for this project. This notice is also to determine the potential impact to industry due to consolidation. Project Description: This project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and the labor to install a total of six (6) Energy Star rated mini-split ductless air conditioning/heat pump systems at the Hop Brook Lake Project office, five (5) Energy Star rated mini-split ductless air conditioning/heat pump systems at the Naugatuck River Basin Office, one (1) Energy Star rated, mini-split ductless air conditioning/ heat pump system at the Stamford Hurricane Barrier Office in Stamford, CT, one (1) Energy Star rated mini-split ductless air conditioning/heat pump system at the Thomaston Dam Office, one (1) Energy Star rated mini-split ductless air conditioning/heat pump system at the Black Rock Lake Office, and two (2) Energy Star rated mini-split ductless air conditioning/heat pump systems at the Colebrook River Lake Office, for a total of 16 units. Interested firms should submit a capabilities package to include the following: business classification (i.e. HUBZone, small business, etc.), a proof of bonding as well as what type of equipment would be utilized for this project. Please indicate your subcontractor team that will be used to support your effort and include their prior experience. The Government intends to consolidate the installation tasks at each location in one contract. Interested parties are requested to indicate the following regarding the intent to consolidate this requirement: - Can your firm successfully perform the work at each location as part of one contract? - Should the requirement be broken up into separate contracts for each location? - Would there be a cost savings were the project to be consolidated or separated? Responses are limited to twenty pages. Responses are due by March 11, 2019. Responses should be addressed to ATTN: Contract Specialist, Ms. Brooke A. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a solicitation. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
