THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all equipment, materials and labor to perform the grounds maintenance, snow removal, and sanding/salting services at the Stamford Hurricane Barrier. The Stamford Hurricane Barrier includes both East and West side properties. The Stamford Hurricane Barrier has approximately 1 acre of fine lawn area that requires bi-weekly (once every two weeks) maintenance, and specific Levee maintenance, which is to be completed every other month. There is approximately 29,000 square feet of paved roadways, parking lots, pull-offs, stairways and sidewalks that will require snow removal and sanding services. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
