The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice to furnish all equipment, materials and labor for Beach Combing/Wood Chip Removal to remove and dispose of woody debris on Camp Ellis and Ferry Beach, Saco and Scarborough, ME. The period of performance is from contract award through 15 May 2019. In addition, the Government may exercise one (1) optional year with the same performance requirements. Option year one (1) would include a period of performance from 01 March 2020 through 01 April 2020. This solicitation will be available on or about 3-April 2019. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS RELEASED. The solicitation will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view this solicitation, prospective contractors are required to self-register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and "register now" under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 562111 with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
