THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Provide all materials, labor, testing, and equipment for performing all operations necessary to complete the following work: • Provide in place reclamation of 3308 square yards of existing asphalt pavement at the Townshend Lake Overlook Parking Lot. The parking lot is approximately 965 feet in length by 137 feet in width with a bituminous concrete pavement thickness of approximately 3 to 4 inches, with an underlying gravel base. Reclamation shall be to the depth of the existing road surface. • Removal of approximately 187 linear feet of existing W-beam guardrail along the northwest corner of the Townshend Lake Overlook Parking Lot, to include backfilling of post-holes. • Installation of approximately 180 linear feet of W-Beam guardrail along the northwest side of the Townshend Lake Overlook Parking Lot, making use of reclaimed supplies and materials from removed section where possible. • Following reclamation of the existing pavement, prepare the reclaimed base course material by grading and compacting as specified herein. After compaction of the base course, place new bituminous concrete pavement covering 3013 square yards. • Place excess reclaimed material along the shoulders of the road to match the finish elevation of the new bituminous concrete pavement and compact. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $15,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
