REQUEST FOR INFORMATION - Exploring Innovative Design and Construction Methodologies with Korean Industry
This is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District Request for Information (RFI) seeking industry input on innovative design and construction methods for potential projects in Korea; it is market research only, not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded. The RFI explores Progressive Design-Build, Design-Build to Budget, Other Transaction Authority, and modern industrialized construction methods such as volumetric modular, prefabricated components, pre-engineered metal buildings, tension fabric structures, and 3D printing. USACE FED is especially interested in firms with relevant experience in Korea, including private-sector or Korean government work, and prior U.S. government experience is not required. Responses are voluntary, must be in English, and should address company capabilities, experience with these methods, and Korean construction best practices.
