This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.105 Synopsis and Posting Requirements requiring the notification of proposed contract actions. This announcement is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. This requirement will be a small business set aside, NAICS Code 541930, PSC R603. The Massachusetts Army National Guard intends to post a solicitation, in the form of a Request for Quote (RFQ) under FAR Part 13 for foreign document translation and evaluation services for the Recruiting & Retention Battalion. The Government anticipates that this solicitation will be available on or about 14 February 2025 from the Contracting Opportunities link within the beta.SAM.gov website on-line at https://sam.gov/. The solicitation, Performance Work Statement (PWS), and associated information will be available only from the SAM.gov website. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide translation, credential evaluation, and/or certification services of foreign source identity and education documentation. This work shall be done in accordance with Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE), or National Association of Credential Services (NACES) or any accrediting organization recognized by the US Department of Education and approved by Contracting Officer (KO). As a result of the solicitation, the Government intends to issue a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order with a performance start date no later than March 5th 2025. This effort will be solicited as a Total Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code that applies to this effort is: 541930 – Translation and Interpretation Services - with a Small Business Size Standard of $22.5M.
