Move Coordinator Pre-Solicitation Synopsis - Amentment 0001 (changes are bolded) In accordance with FAR 5.204, this pre-solicitation notice is meant to inform industry of an anticipated, upcoming solicitation. This notice will not bind the government to any actions or awards. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a solicitation for a Move Coordinator to coordinate the seamless relocation of approximately 900 employees from the Romano Mazzoli Federal Building to 220 West Main Street in Louisville, KY. The Move Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all aspects of the move to ensure minimal disruption to employees and operations, this includes the physical move of all items in the notes. This move will occur by floor from Early 2026 through September 2026 Contract duration is 365 calendar days from the Date of Award. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This solicitation will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 484210 – Used Household and Office Goods Moving, Standard Size: $34,000,000.00. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be advertised as full and open competition. SELECTION PROCESS: The contract award will be based on Best Value to the Government. ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 05 November 2025. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to http://Sam.gov. Project Location: 220 West Main Street Louisville, KY 40202 Project Description: The contractor shall provide unarmed on-site guard facility security operations and access control at 220 West Main Street, Louisville, KY during the hours of 0600-1800, Monday-Friday. Contract duration is estimated at 1,825 calendar days (5 Years). The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 (FAR 36.204 & DFARS 236.204). NAICS code is 561612. Description of Experience – Provide descriptions your firm’s past experience on up to three (3) projects with greater than 95% construction complete, or those projects completed within the last five years which are similar to this project in size, and scope. Provide documentation demonstrating experience for similar type of work and managing multiple sub-contractors. Demonstrate experience including self-performing 15% of the work. Provide documentation demonstrating experience for projects of similar type projects. Each project must include the name, title, project role, e-mail address, and telephone number of at least one reference. References may be used to verify project size, scope, dollar value, percentages and quality of performance. Effective 29 June 2018, vendors creating or updating their registration can have their registration activated prior to the approval of the required notarized letter. However, the signed copy of the notarized letter must be sent to the GSA Federal Service Desk (FSD) within 30 days of activation or the vendor risks no longer being active in SAM. Vendors can check whether an account is active by performing a query by their CAGE or Unique Entity Identifier (known as DUNS). The new registration process may now take several weeks, so vendors are highly encouraged to begin registering as soon as possible to avoid any possible delays in future contract awards. Remember, there is no cost to use SAM.
