This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the contractor to provide re-surfacing the existing asphalt pavement for the USACE dam service access road at Cave Run Lake. This work will include leveling and wedging the existing pavement as needed and overlaying the road and approach with 2-inches of new surface asphalt. The asphalt mixture, construction, and placement are to meet the requirements of Kentucky Department of Highways Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction (KYDOH SSRBC), current edition, unless otherwise specified in this scope of work. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, materials, supplies, tools, parts, equipment, transportation, labor, supervision, communication, and quality control to complete the work listed below, at the area specified at Cave Run Lake, located in Rowan County, Kentucky. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms, clauses, and conditions incorporated herein. Quotes are due on 23 September at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. NOTE: THIS RFQ IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310. The size standard is $45M.
