DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912QR24B0017 for the Design-Bid-Build Construction of a 12,300 SF single-story, pre-engineered metal building (PEMB), laboratory support building at WPAFB, OH. The Contract Duration is estimated at five hundred and ninety five (595) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This IFB will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be a Full & Open competitive procurement. Information regarding the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers process for settling requests for equitable adjustments and duration goals to achieve definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts can be found by going to https://www.usace.army.mil/Business-With-Us/Partnering/ then clicking on “View FFP Contract Changes Playbook Here”. SELECTION PROCESS: This is a FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding Procurement. The bids will be evaluated based on the lowest priced complete offer submitted. DISCUSSIONS: The Government intends to award without discussions. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored.
