Clean fourteen (14) static displays with wet power washing methods. Air/Abrasive blasting methods are not required or approved. Paint Preparation: Remove loose rust and paint with wet power washing, hand tools, and mechanical means. Capture and/or clean up all rust and paint debris removed. Spot prime any remaining adhered rust with rust converter. Recoat static displays with two coats of paint to match existing conditions (e.g. color, patterns, insignias). One display is a Ship Screw from a Destroyer. It is of brass like material and has a clear coat on it. Cleaning, polishing, and recoating of this display will be slightly different from painting the others. Include in painting the black display sign posts and any painted vehicle support stands or display mounts.

TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This IFB will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Construction contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 238320 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This is a Small Business set-aside procurement. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: In accordance with FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $250,000 - $500,000. ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about mid May 2024. Details regarding an Optional Site Visit will be included in the solicitation if one is determined to be provided. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to https://sam.gov/. SELECTION PROCESS: This is a sealed bid procurement under FAR Part 14. The bids will be evaluated based on the lowest priced, complete offer submitted subject to responsibility determination. DISCUSSIONS: The Government intends to award without discussions.
