DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912QR23B0003 for Competition Soccer Field located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This project is to replace Install artificial turf on the infield of the existing oval running track to create a soccer field, for a high school and inbound middle school. Electrical utilities include an electronic scoreboard and associated electrical service. Stormwater utilities includes sub-surface drainage improvements. Site preparation includes work such as removing grass/weeds and shaping/crowning the field to drain. Site improvements include installing artificial turf over a shock pad on top of aggregate/base, striping the field, soccer goals, repairing adjacent mulch beds, and fencing. A pre-bid site visit may be held. Meeting and site visit details will be provided in the solicitation. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This IFB will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be advertised as 100% Small Business. SELECTION PROCESS: This is a sealed bid procurement operating under FAR Part 14. The bids will be evaluated based on the lowest price submitted. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 in accordance with FAR 36.204.
