The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to replace the existing diesel generator system at the Upper Dam Site of the McAlpine Locks and Dam located at 805 North 27th Street, Louisville, KY 40212. Prices should include mobilization & de-mobilization, fuel, labor, material and equipment. The contractor’s work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein. Work will begin within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will conclude 180 calendar days after the NTP. One award will be made from this Solicitation. Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. Quotes will not be accepted for quantities less than the quantities specified in the Quote. Failure to submit a unit price for all items listed will be considered as a material deviation from the requirements and the Quote will be rejected. Note: The contract award will be based on Low Price. A site visit is recommended for the contractor to review the complexities of the work sites, verify existing conditions, and exact measurements.
