Phase II (East and West Paintsville) design is being performed in-house. An East Paintsville levee consists of approximately 100 feet of V-shaped earthen levee constructed across a drainage channel to control runoff. The levee is approximately 25-30 feet high and has a one gate well control structure with a sluice gate a storm pipe with flap gate. A West Paintsville floodwall consists of approximately 1,400 linear feet of concrete T-wall/I-wall with standard height of 10 feet with some regrading and drainage pipe penetrations. **************************Amendment 0001*********************** Solicitation W912QR22B0008, Johnson County Phase II, East-West Levee is hereby amended as follows: a. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912QR22B0008 for Johnson County Phase II Construction. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This IFB will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $39.5 million. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be listed as Full and Open Competition. SELECTION PROCESS: The bids will be evaluated based on the lowest priced complete offer submitted.
