General: This is a non-personal services contract under which the personnel rendering the services are not subject, by the contract’s either terms or by the manner of its administration, to the supervision and control usually prevailing in relationships between the Government and its employees. The Contractor shall ensure that all contractor employees and subcontractor employees are medically and psychologically fit for performance of their duties. Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the duties as musician as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Background: The purpose of the Musician is to provide musical accompaniment for the Catholic Mass on Sundays and 18 Special events in support of the Catholic Community. Additionally, the musician is to provide musical accompaniment for the Protestant Worship Services and a weekly Choir Rehearsal and during 18 Special Events in support of the Protestant Community. The musician will coordinate the music, the songs, leading the congregation during these religious services. Scope of Work: Accompaniment of music for congregational singing, solos, duets, ensembles, and other special music as required and directed by the Command Chaplain and the Catholic Priest. Musician will be responsible for playing the guitar or keyboard and any other instrument as required for the Protestant Service, Choir Rehearsals and Sunday Catholic services to include attending the Special Events and preparing service instruments and any other program musical playing elements to provide a respectable religious service experience. These services will generally be of one hour in duration, with no more than one hour in a half for special services. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for fourth (4) option years of (12) twelve months each option periods: ----Base Year: 15 August 2024 to 14 August 2025 Option Year I: 15 August 2025 to 14 August 2026 Option Year II: 15 August 2026 to 15 August 2027 Option Year III: 15 August 2027 to 15 August 2028 Option Year IV: 15 August 2028 to 14 August 2029
