The United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO) for South Carolina, 9 National Guard Road, Columbia, SC 29201, intends to award a sole-source contract to Pond & Company for the procurement of the Architect and Engineering Type A, B, and C services for a logical follow on contract to update the original design completed in W912QG-08-D-0002-0012. This is in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.203(a) – “Publicizing and response time,” which states, “A notice must be published at least 15 days before issuance of a solicitation, or a proposed contract action that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302...” The proposed solicitation number is W912QG-22-R-0013 and will only be negotiated with Pond & Company. It is anticipated that the award will be a firm fixed price follow on contract in accordance with the attached J&A. It is anticipated the contract will be awarded no later than May 2022. This requirement is being conducted under Service Code C219 and NAICS Code 541310. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: McEntire Joint National Guard Base, Eastover, SC 29044-5008. This Notice of Intent is NOT a REQUEST FOR QUOTE, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Additionally, this announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
