A Firm fixed price competitive contract under the Small Business 8(a) Program is anticipated. The period of performance will include a 30-day phase-in/transition period, 11-month base period, four (4) 12-month options periods. Phase-in period is anticipated to start 02 July 2022. The contract will provide for facilities maintenance and support services (FMSS) to various buildings, activities, and equipment located on Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS), Truman Annex Key West, Florida. The purpose of the contract is to support the JIATFS mission by providing a comfortable working environment and safe, well-maintained buildigns for occupants, users, and visitors to JIATFS. The Contractor shall have and maintain throughout the period of this contract a Top-Secret Facilities Clearance. See attachments for complete details. JIATFS shall hold a pre-proposal site visit on 01 March 2022. This scheduled site visit will enable potential Offerors to further understand the history behind the requirement as well as tour the command. SPECIAL NOTE: Contractors are highly encouraged to research the Key West surrounding area as well as available resources. Be prepared for extremely high off-base housing costs. Available housing is the top issue affecting staffing in this location.
