The 107th Attack Wing, located at the Niagara Air Reserve Station, Niagara Falls, New York, is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for Construction of Project # RVKQ182588 Repair Wind Damaged Doors Building 912. Construction services will consist of all labor, materials, plant, equipment and supervision necessary to repair by replacement two (2) door assemblies. Doors require replacement as the original materials were insufficient to resist wind damage and have become damaged beyond the point of reasonable repair without prediction of future damage; along with other associated work with in the statement of work (SOW). Magnitude of the project is less than $25,000.00. Construction/contract completion time is 122 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 238350. This is a total small business set-aside. The small business size standard is $15.0 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (c) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for Construction by a special trade contractor, the concern will perform at least 25 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. The solicitation is/was released on 22 May 2019. The date for the site visit is on 5 June 2019, 9:00 a.m. EST at the 107th Attack Wing Operations Building 912, at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation.
