Maintenance Dredging, Wilmington Harbor Anchorage Basin and Mid River Channels
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of the Wilmington Harbor Anchorage Basin and Mid River Channels in North Carolina. The work involves mechanical dredging and ocean-certified barge transport of shoaled material to the Government-furnished Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS), with no overflow allowed during operations. Dredging quantities are estimated at 1 to 1.5 million cubic yards for the Anchorage Basin and 400K to 800K cubic yards for the Mid River Channels, with depths ranging from 38 to 44 feet plus 2 feet of allowable over-depth.
