THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE: This solicitation is anticipated to be issued under FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) Purchase Order. The solicitation will issue on or about 27 March 2023, quote due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. NAICS Code: 238190, Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior, and the size standard is $19,000,000.00. THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $25,000,00 - $100,000.00 Work consists of the Contractor to remove existing deck and supporting structure, replace with new supporting structure and composite deck with color approved by the Government. All work must be performed in accordance with the requirements and specifications below. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc.) will be provided. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. This is a Sources Sought only. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to award any contract based on this request. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to provide all equipment, labor, supervisions, and materials to remove the existing deck and supporting structure, and replace with a new supporting structure and composite deck with an approved color. All interested firms with 238190 as an approved NAICs code have until 20 February, 10AM, EDT to submit the following information: - Name & Address of your Firm - Point of Contact (Name/Phone/E-mail) - Current SAM Record to included UEI Number and CAGE Code - Firm's capability to perform the work, include project name, location, owner's contact information, date supplied, and a brief description of the work completed. - Documented experience in the manufacture of similar projects for at least five years. The approximate size of the deck is 1,250 sf with an elevated slope. - Business Size, to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business, and Large Business. Any supporting documentation that confirms your socio-economic status should be provided, i.e., letter of certification from VA confirming SDVOSB status. The Government must be able to verify SBA certification of HubZone and 8(a) via SAM. The Government may not give credit to your socio-economic class if there is not sufficient documentation to support it or if the Government cannot verify through other means that your business is as such.
