The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) No. W912PM21R0004 for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) to furnish non-personal services necessary to perform service and repair of deficient rail and associated appurtenances at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU), Brunswick County, North Carolina. FOR INFORMATION ONLY: This Synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming; no proposals are being accepted at this time. This acquisition is being offered as a competitive 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $36.5M. The life of the basic contract is for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year options. NOTE: To the maximum extent practicable, 8(a) construction requirements will be awarded to an 8(a) Participant firm that has a bona fide place of business within the county or State where the work is to be performed. The contractor which successfully receives an award will have a total contract capacity of $24.5M. The Government will use Best Value selection procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-1. Projects will vary in size but the order limitation of task orders shall range between $150K upward to $6M. Task orders issued under this SATOC will be firm-fixed price.
