All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.* This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Request for Quotes, W912PM20T0027. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.603, Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This will be an UNRESTRICTED procurement. The solicitation number is W912PM20T0027 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 332312 with a small business size standard of 500 mployees. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-05. Description of Requirement: The Wilmington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to supply a 40,000-pound electric hoist to W. Kerr Scott Dam. The work will primarily consist of 2 tasks: 1) the contractor shall provide and deliver a 40,000-pound electric hoist mounted on a trolley in accordance with the requirements and specifications listed below; 2) the contractor shall supply a certified technician to assist USACE personnel as a consultant with installation and certification of the new hoist. Work also requires this use of a certified technician to assist in installation. One award will be made from this solicitation. Delivery: The Contractor shall commence work within ten (10) calendar days after the Contractor receives the Notice of Award and complete the entire work ready for use not later than one-hundred twenty (120) calendar days after receipt of the Notice of Award. Detailed Pricing Schedule: The contractor shall return the detailed pricing schedule with their quote. Evaluation and Award: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. In order to be determined technically acceptable, an offeror must provide documentation of the following: For any quote to be technically acceptable, offeror must provide along with quoted pricing, any cut sheets, technical documents, brochures, and etcetera, necessary to show the contractor’s quoted and proposed hoist meets the criteria outlined within the solicitation Scope of Work. Any proposed item differing from the above criteria, or missing documentation needed to verify above criteria shall be deemed technically unacceptable and the quote will be rejected. This will be firm-fixed-price contract action. PARTIES INTERESTED IN RESPONDING TO THIS RFQ may submit their Quote in accordance with standard commercial practice (i.e. Quote form, letterhead, etc.) and MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Solicitation number; offeror's complete mailing and remittance addresses; DUNS number, and Tax Identification Number. Any questions regarding this solicitation MUST be submitted via email to karri.l.mares@usace.army.mil and alicia.g.evans@usace.army.mil no later than 2:00PM, EDT 15 July 2020. Any prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the SAM database (beta.sam.gov) prior to any award of a contract resulting from this solicitation. QUOTES ARE DUE NOT LATER THAN 2:00PM, EDT, 23 July 2020. QUOTES MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY via EMAIL TO the Contract Specialist, Karri L. Mares at karri.l.mares@usace.army.mil and the Contracting Officer, Alicia G. Evans at alicia.g.evans@usace.army.mil. The completed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FAR 52.212-3) or Notation that company is registered in SAM (https://beta.sam.gov/) must be submitted along with each Quote. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. This announcement and written request for Quote constitutes the only Request for Quote that will be made for this requirement.
