The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide maintenance dredging of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW) channel between Morehead City and Shallotte, North Carolina and Channels to Jacksonville, W912PM20B0019. 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT: The magnitude of construction for this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $30,00,000.00. The maintenance dredging work will consist of removal of shoaled material that has accumulated in the channels since the various areas were last dredged. Dredging depth is 12’ required depth plus 2’ of allowable overdepth for the AIWW channels. Placement of dredged material will be on approved ocean beaches. All dredging shall be performed by hydraulic cutter suction dredge. There is no environmental dredging window for the AIWW channels. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
