F-15 Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Facility, Vandenberg SFB
The USACE Los Angeles District is conducting a sources-sought market survey—not a solicitation—for a competitive, firm-fixed-price construction contract to build and deploy a pre-engineered metal warehouse near the flightline. The facility will store and support Aerospace Ground Equipment and include administrative/utility spaces, bathrooms, tool storage, and a dedicated battery storage/charging room using local privatized utility hookups. The estimated contract duration is 730 calendar days, and the estimated magnitude is between $15,000,000 and $25,000,000. The set-aside decision will depend on market research, and interested large and small businesses—including 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB concerns—are invited to demonstrate relevant capabilities. Respondents should provide similar past-performance examples, business size and joint-venture/teaming information, and bonding capacity, including experience with pre-engineered metal buildings, structural foundations/slabs, coastal corrosion mitigation, industrial fire protection, and privatized utility coordination.
