The project involves constructing a non-standard design Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TUAV) Hangar for storage and maintenance of Group 3 Unmanned Aircraft Systems, including a new addition and alteration of an existing hangar. Scope includes an aircraft storage hangar, covered re-fueling pit, covered fuel storage area, two aircraft monitor buildings and canopies, and associated aprons and taxiways. It also covers a fire suppression system, utility monitoring and control systems, sustainability energy enhancements, and supporting site development such as utilities, lighting, paving, drainage, landscaping, and signage. The design must meet DoD Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards, provide accessibility, self-contained heating and air conditioning, and interior design services. Facilities are to be designed for a minimum 40-year life in accordance with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02).
