Amendment 0004 changes the solicitation # from W912PL24R0035 to W912PL25R0001 the issue date is 10/18/2024 and the RFP closing date is 11/18/2024. PIEE Amendment 0004 is for PIEE administrative purposes only, Any official amendment to the RFP will be issued on form SF-30. The work includes providing biennial maintenance dredging of federal navigation channels and sand traps and placing the majority of sand onto Hueneme Beach. The project includes a base bid for the first dredging cycle plus two options for additional dredging cycles. Approximately 150,000 to 200,000 cubic yards of sand to be placed on Silver Strand Beach per dredge cycle. Dredge quantities vary but may go up to 2,500,000 cubic yards per dredge cycle. The estimated magnitude of this project is: Between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The total contract duration is estimated at 85 calendar days per dredge cycle. This acquisition will be issued as an Unrestricted RFP awarded under FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation to be issued on or about 24 July 2024 with a tentative bid opening date of 26 August 2024. Sub-contracting plans are required for all construction contracts awarded to a large business when the award amount exceeds $1,500,000.00. If the offeror is a large business, the firm will be required to submit a subcontracting plan as part of its bid package. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard paper copy.
