Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This project involves constructing a new combined pumphouse and substation at the VA Long Beach Campus, followed by demolishing the existing building. The existing pumphouse must remain operational during construction, which will be performed in phases and includes providing temporary power to an on-campus hotel. The work includes preparation, submittals, site investigations, utility shutdowns, and infection control measures, with a noted likelihood of asbestos in the existing structure. Bids may only be submitted through the PIEE system.
