This is a large-scale civil works project to widen a 5,220-foot segment of the Murrieta Creek channel. The comprehensive scope includes approximately 500,000 cubic yards of excavation, major utility relocations and protections, installation of extensive drainage systems, riprap, and significant landscaping. Key utility work involves relocating and casing large water lines and constructing in-place protection structures for parallel sewer lines. The performance location is the Murrieta Creek Phase 2B channel, from the upstream end of Phase 2A to Station 151+00. Several amendments have been posted, including updates to PLA requirements and bid opening participation instructions.
