The contract will include all parts, labor, and machinery, required to facilitate emergency dredging. A hydraulic dredge will be brought on site to dredge approximately 35,000 cubic yards of material to open up the harbor entrance. The dredge material will be placed via pipeline into the surf zone at a designated area on West Beach. Placement location is near the dredge area so minimal dredge pipeline will need to be brought on site to complete the work. A pre and post dredge hydrographic survey will be performed to determine the amount of material dredged and channel depths once the emergency dredging project is completed.
