The elevation of the top of the dike varies between elevations 569.50 and 573.50. The dike will have the following basic characteristics: average height of 22 feet above existing ground, width of crest is 15 feet, 2.25 horizontal to 1 vertical (2.25H:1V) side slopes, upstream slope will be protected with 15-inch layer of riprap over a 12-inch layer of bedding, downstream slope will be hydroseeded. Butterfield Drive, W. Rincon Street, and Auburndale Street will be impacted by the construction of the dike. A concrete floodwall and floodgate will be constructed across Auburndale Street. Butterfield Drive will be modified and a new connector road constructed to connect to Rincon Street. Total Period of Performance is 1095 Calendar Days. Completion of Bid Item’s 0001 through 0032, 0034, and 0036 through 0038 will be within the first 730 Calendar Days.
