The U.S. Army Corps Los Angeles District is soliciting for a construction project titled, F-35 Munitions Conveyor Facility, Nellis AFB, Nevada on Solicitation W912PL20B0006. Site visit is scheduled for 2July2020 @ 9:00AM. For those who attend the site visit shall provide necessary information at least five (5) BUSINESS DAYS (Monday – Friday) prior to the site visit for the individual to be added to the guest list. Please see Section 00 22 13 for futher details. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The new F-35 Munitions Assembly Conveyor (MAC) Facility will be a total of 60,546 SF which includes a 60,000 SF concrete pad centered with a 15,000 SF sunshade canopy with an adjacent 546 SF office support building. The office support building will consist of office space, restrooms and storage. The sunshade canopy, which is centered on the new concrete pad, will be 100’ x 150’ and will be equipped with 2 large industrial size overhead fans. The concrete pad will be 200’ x 300’. Work will include reinforced concrete foundation and floor slabs, structural steel frame, standing seam metal roof, fire detection/protection, utilities, site improvements, landscaping, roads/parking adequate for 18 wheel tractor & trailers circular path around covered structure and administrative facility and communications support along with the removal of an existing small 20’ x 20’ shaded canopy structure with a pavement pad located on the south end of the proposed MAC pad facility. THIS PROJECT IS SET-ASIDE for 8(a) SMALL BUSINESS. The procurement method used will be Invitation for Bid (IFB). Eligible offerors will be required to provide a bid and other submittals requested in solicitation for consideration of award. The submittals will be evaluated to ensure contractors are deemed responsive and responsible. Those bidders that are determined to be responsive and responsible will then be evaluated based on the lowest price submitted. The solicitation, amendments and previous interested vendor's list for this solicitation will be posted on www.beta.SAM.gov Viewing/downloading documents from www.beta.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check www.beta.SAM.gov website frequently for any amendments or changes to the solicitation.
