The new design depths will -44 ft MLLW for the Approach Channel and -40 ft MLLW for the remainder of harbor. Approximately 385,000 total cubic yards to be dredged. Approx 18,000 cy of unsuitable material to be placed in existing Confined Aquatic Disposal (CAD ) site within the harbor. Remainder of dredge material can be placed either in the Nearshore Placement Site or onto Hueneme Beach, located south of the Entrance Channel. Timber piles will be encountered in Channel A. Contractor must obtain Ventura County Air Pollution Control District permit. Magnitude of the Proposed Project: $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. This procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding, FSC CODE: Y1KF Dredging, NAICS Code: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The new design depths will be -44 ft MLLW for the Approach Channel, and -40 ft MLLW for the remainder of the harbor. Approximately 370,000 cubic yards to be dredged. Approximately 20,000 cy of unsuitable material to be placed in the existing Confined Aquatic Disposal (CAD) site within the harbor. Remainder of dredged material (350,000 cy) can be placed either in the Nearshore Placement Site or onto Hueneme Beach, located south of Port of Hueneme Entrance. Timber pile remnants may be encountered in Channel A. Contractor must obtain a Ventura County Air Pollution Control District permit. The proposed award is to be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the invitation for bids (IFB) and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors, in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. TENTATIVE ISSUE DATE IS MAY 21, 2020. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be awarded within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of bids.
