The 414th Contracting Support Brigade in Vicenza, Italy intends to sole-source a $700,000 increase to the shared maximum ordering ceiling of an existing AE Services MATOC, raising it from $6,000,000 to $6,700,000. This modification addresses an unanticipated surge in requirements to support deteriorating infrastructure at USAG-Italy, without extending the current ordering period, which concludes on 9 February 2027. The government determined the four existing prime contractors are the only sources capable of providing continuous performance without unacceptable delays or substantial duplication of costs. Performance of services is located in Italy, supporting U.S. Forces stationed there. The government plans to post a full and open competition for a new AE Services MATOC within the next six months.
