The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this notice to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the services described herein. DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the replacement of the existing activated carbon (GAC) filters. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Caserma Ederle and Caserma Del Din, Vicenza Italy. SERVICE PERFORMANCE: This contract is necessary according to current Italian Laws. This service cannot be performed by in-house personnel. GAC filters in water plant system must be replaced once a year in order to maintain the full operation of the filters and avoid bacteria and pollutants in the potable water. Resulting material shall be disposed of in strict accordance with the current norms. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Government anticipates awarding a contract with a period of performance starting 01 August to 30 September 2019. SOURCE SELECTION PROCESS: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable TYPE OF THE CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price WHO CAN PARTICIPATE 1.: Offerors that possses a Chamber of Commerce Certificate of Membership (Certificato Storico di Iscrizione alla Camera di Commercio), NOT older than 90 days at the time set forth for the receipt of offers. Self-certifications are NOT allowed and will be rejected. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: Third Parties liabilities for Transportation Activity - Third Parties liabilities for Waste Collection of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. 2. ALBO NAZIONALE GESTORI AMBIENTALI: The offeror shall be enrolled in the Albo Nazionale Gestori Ambientali for transportation of waste on behalf of third parties with category 4 and 5.
