1. BACKGOUND/REQUIMENTS: Contractor shall provide Army Community Service (ACS) Italian as a Second Language Instruction Services at the Army Community Service Center, Caserma Ederle, Italy. The Contractor services shall be made available to Spouses of Active Duty, retired military and DoD civilians family members. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Goverment contemplates to establish a firm fixed price contract services for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Contractors that meet minimm quliafication listed below : (a) A four (4) year college degree (Bachelor's) in Education, Teaching, or Foreign Languages from an accredited educational institution. College transcripts are required. (b) A minimum of two (2) years classroom experience teaching a foreign language; (c) A minimum of two years full time experience in assisting/teaching adults in Italian in formal and informal setting and shall be documented in the resume; (d) Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in both Italian and English languages. The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database.
