BACKGOUND/REQUIMENTS: Orientation Tour Operator (hereafter referred to as the "Contractor") shall provide overseas orientation, including cross-cultural training experience, which will facilitate adaptation and reduce relocation stress in support of service members, family members, and Department of Defense (DOD) Civilians located in Vicenza, Italy. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Goverment contemplates to establish a firm fixed price contract services for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Contractors that meet minimm quliafication listed below : (a) Oral and written fluency in both Italian and English. (b) Demonstrate knowledge of Italian culture(s) and lifestyle services. (c) At least two years experience in the coordination of trips and historical tours. (d) Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with all levels of command, people from differing cultures, as well as with young and inexperienced Soldiers and Family Members. The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database.
