Notice Type: Pre-solicitation Notice FSC: J099 NAICS: 811118 Description of the service: This is a service to perform inspections, load testing, maintenance, evaluation and certification for mobile cranes and non-mobile cranes / hoists, bridges and monorails for Army Field Support Battalion Africa (AFSBn-Africa). Location of the work: The service shall be performed at Darby Military Community (DMC), US Army Garrison (USAG) Italy, Livorno Army Depot, AFSBn-Africa Area of Operation. Performance Period: The performance period will be one base year plus two option years. Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Hybrid Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials type contract. Issuance of solicitation: The solicitation package together with the description of the service and additional information will be posted around the middle of January 2019. Response date: The due-in date for the submittal of quotation will be indicated in the solicitation. Site visit: A site visit will be held on 05 February 2018, 09:30 hrs. The meeting point will be at Gate #27 (Depot Gate), Via Aurelia, Tombolo (Pisa). The offeror(s) not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the base. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the offeror from participating in this requirement.
