SUBJECT: Pre-solicitation notice for Microbiological and Chemical Analysis of water at USAG-IT Vicenza, Italy To whom it may concern, The United States Government, through the 414th CSB, Regional Contracting Office, Italy (Vicenza Office), intends to procure a contract for the subject as follows. The intent of this letter is to advertise the upcoming requirement for as many potentially interested companies. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES NEEDED: This is a requirement to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the microbiological and chemical analysis of water at USAG IT Vicenza, Italy. The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, vehicles, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and other items and services necessary to manage and perform the chemical and bacteriological tests of drinking water coming from wells, treatment plants and water supply lines located within the USA military installations in the Vicenza area (Caserma Ederle, Villaggio della Pace, ASP#7, Longare, Caserma Del Din, Torri di Quartesolo and Lerino di Torri di Quartesolo Warehouses) and swimming pools water, in order to verify conformance with the requirements set forth in the following Italian Laws and American Standards. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The work under this contract will be performed on Caserma Ederle, Villaggio della Pace, ASP#7, Longare, Caserma Del Din, Torri di Quartesolo and Lerino di Torri di Quartesolo Warehouses in Vicenza, Italy. METHOD OF CONTRACTI NG AND AWARD: The method of award will be clearly indicated in the forthcoming Request for Quote (RFQ). TYPE OF CONTRACT: The Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Contractors that are interested in participating to this acquisition shall send an e-mail not later than 1 November 2019, 16:00 hrs to the following addresses: colleen.m.powers.civ@mail.mil and lindsay.r.jaime.civ@mail.mil Citing as subject the description of the requirement (Microbiological and Chemical Analysis of water at USAG-IT Vicenza, Italy) NOTE: - SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable on https://eportal.nspa.nato.int/AC135Public/scage/CageList.aspx). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. - If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. - This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
