The participants will meet at Main Gate (Gate Number 4) Camp Darby, Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy. ************ REQUIREMENT TITLE: W912PF-20-Q-0042 -- “Certify Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Line Bldg. 201 at Darby Military Community, U.S. Army Garrison (USAG), Italy.” DESCRIPTON OF THE PROJECT: This is a Design-Build project. The general scope of this project is to replace the LPG pipe from the tank to the kitchen cookers, including all accessories. The school constitutes a fire activity pursuant to Italian DM 151/2011. All works included in this contract must be in accordance with Italian DM 151/2011. All documentations and certifications related to fire prevention will be the responsibility of the Government and out of this scope of work. At the end of the works, the Contractor must issue the Declaration of Conformity in accordance with DM 37/2008. Building 201 house the elementary schools of Camp Darby. The school kitchen is powered by a 1000 liters above ground LPG tank, placed outdoor the building. The existing LPG pipe from the tank up to the building is buried. The LPG tank will be replaced with a new one with a different contract. The new LPG tank capacity is estimated in 1750 liters. PRODUCT SERVICE CODE: Z1NA maintenance of fuel supply facilities NORTH INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS): 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors LOCATION OF THE WORK: The work under this contract will be performed at Darby Military Community, USAG Italy. MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: The magnitude of this project is less $25,000.00 (€21,467.50) FUNDING: This project is funded. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: This project shall be performed in two phases. Design Phase: 45 calendar days Construction Phase: 30 calendar days Passes for construction shall be obtained during design phase Individual Notice to Proceeds will be released for each of the two phases. SITE VISIT: The site visit date is scheduled on 15 July 2020 (Wednesday)(0900) at (Main Gate) Gate No. 4, Camp Darby, Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy. The guards will check the identification card at the gate. Visitors not included or annotated on the visitor list will be denied the entrance to the Installations. Not indicating interest as described above does not preclude the offeror from participating in this requirement.
