These systems will still be functional, however, the date stamp received from the satellites will revert the GPS to a date in the past, preventing the vests from populating on the EXCON with a valid and accurate location and thus affecting the real- time entity tracking and AAR capability. To prevent this roll back in time, the affected vests will require replacement GPS receiver Mobile Station Assisted (MSA) hardware.
