Prescribed burning of grassy areas supports? ATC live fire range maintenance (e.g. target visibility) and is a low cost and safer method compared to de-dudding / cutting. Host Nation permitted the burning if accompanied by monitoring of threatened & endangered species. This contract includes the survey of permanently established test plots on live fire ranges to meet the monitoring requirements.
