The U.S. Government currently anticipates a requirement for Mobile Detection Systems for six (6) buildings at the APS 2 site in Dulmen, Germany, Europe. Each system shall include these major components: a) Base Stations b) Push Button detectors with integrated horn and strobe c) Smoke detectors d) Repeater e) Line Cards Estimated quantities: All quantities are estimates. It is offeror's responsibility to provide fully functional systems meeting manufacturer and DIN spacing standards to be recognized by Host Nation authorities as temporary fire larm and detection system. a) Building 40003= 2 base stations, 88 smoke detectors, 1 repeater, 24 push button/siren units, 112 mounting lates (each) b) Building 40004= 2 base stations, 89 smoke detectors, 1 repeater, 19 push button/siren units, 108 mounting lates (each) c) Building 40005= 2 base stations, 110 smoke detectors, 1 repeater, 29 push button/siren units, 139 mounting lates (each) d) Building 40007= 2 base stations, 59 smoke detectors, 1 repeater, 38 pushbutton/siren units, 97 mounting lates (each) e) Building 40012= 2 base stations, 116 smoke detectors, 1 repeater, 43 push button/siren units, 159 mounting lates (each) f) Building 40022= 2 base stations, 20 smoke detectors, 1 repeater, 10 push button/siren units, 30 mounting lates (each) All devices shall be installed with approved mounting brackets in accordance with industry standards. Each system will require technical documentation and on-site government training in operation maintenance programming of the system. All system components shall operate independently from facility infrastructure and not require any external electrical power, data or any other communication lines. All devices shall be certified IAW EN 54-25 and operate on German government approved frequencies. The entire system and all its components shall comply with DIN 14675 "Fire Alarm Systems" ("Brandmeldeanlagen"), April 2018 edition. The solicitation for this requirement is expected to be released during the month of May 2019. Only contractors who are registered and have an active account in the System for Award Management (SAM) may be awarded a contract as a result of a solicitation (www.sam.gov). ayment for this requirement will be made through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. Contractors shall be registered in WAWF. Because this requirement is located OCONUS, FAR Part 19 does not apply, therefore this requirement will not be set aside for small business.
