Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking a firm for construction of island protection structures on the Illinois River. The Project is located at river mile 76 on the Illinois River, 5 miles upstream of Meredosia, Illinois. Work includes placement of graded A stone to construct a 300-foot bullnose chevron at the head of an island, 700-feet of on-bank revetment,and construction and placement of 3 woody bundles between the island head and bullnose structure. No land access or laydown area is available, all work will be completed via barge in shallow draft work sites. AMENDMENT 0001- Correct the number of days in clause 52.211-10, and provide answers to contractor questions.
