This notice is for Market Research purposes only! The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Louis District, is seeking businesses that are interested in and capable of performing miter gate anchorages replacement at Locks 27 on the Chain of Rocks Canal located in Granite City, IL. The anticipated contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 90 consecutive days. The main lock miter gate anchorages at Locks 27 are in need of replacement. Work is anticipated to be accomplished with traditional heavy river marine construction equipment, such as floating plant and barge mounted crane staged at the lock. The work will be performed during a scheduled winter closure which is currently estimated to occur during the winter of 2023.
