This is a Sources Sought Notice. This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: Work consists of rehabilitating manholes with Cure-in-Place Manhole (CIPM) method. Concrete and asphalt pavement around manholes will be removed and if damaged or to the minimal extent possible to complete rehabilitation work. Pressure rated frame and lids will be replaced. Manholes will be cleaned and prepped before liner is placed. The liner will be lowered into the manhole and then, using heat and pressurization, the liner will be cured in place. Manholes that were damaged from high pressures will have the existing risers replaced in addition to CIPM lining. Pavement, gravel, and landscape surrounding manholes will be restored to existing conditions after rehabilitation work is completed B.) Capability Statements: Note: Under capability statements below, in addition to listing general experience, specifically include a listing of any USACE or Sewer projects on which you demonstrated the required capability. Do you have experience doing repairs in sewer systems that experience high pressures? Do you have experience with Cure-in-Place Manhole Method? Do you have experience with rehabbing or replacing manhole risers? Do you have the capability to perform work in two areas at the same time. Provide information demonstrating that your company can obtain bonding for up to $5 million dollars. C.)
