The Visitor Center Attendant shall be responsible for a number of tasks associated with the operation of the Carlyle Lake Visitor Center. The Contractor shall assure that all work is accomplished in accordance with specification, schedule, and all applicable laws, and regulations. Two (2) awards will be made from this solicitation, one for schedule A and schedule B. Under Worker Rights Executive Order 13658 for “Federal Minimum Wage for Contractors” it states that “Workers employed on contracts for seasonal recreational services or seasonal recreational equipment rental for the general public on federal lands, except when the workers are performing associated lodging or food services, are not entitled to the EO minimum wage.” Since this is a seasonal recreational service performed for the public on Federal lands, this contract is not entitled to the EO minimum wage.
