MPLD LIFT GATES REPLACEMENT Project Description: The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District is seeking a firm to Replace the lift gate which is a hydraulic steel structure that consists of two individual lift gate leaves. Each replacement lift gate leaf is 24-feet in height and over 110-feet wide. The depth of the upstream lift gate leaf is approximately 9-feet, while the depth of the downstream leaf is approximately 10-feet. The upstream lift gate leaf weighs approximately 400,000 pounds, while the downstream lift gate leaf weighs approximately 475,000 pounds. The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, operators, supervision, supplies and materials and incidentals necessary to perform steel fabrication and delivery of the replacement lift gate for Melvin Price Locks and Dam Main Lock. Estimated Magnitude: between 5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 Anticipated Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Supply Contract using Subjective Best Value Trade-Off (BVTO) evaluation methodology. Solicitation: The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 11 June 2021. This solicitation package will be posted on the System for Award Management (Beta,SAM,gov), which can be accessed at www.beta.sam.gov. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or the Interested Vendors List (IVL). Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the IVL list will not be honored.
