Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, is seeking a firm to furnish and install Tainter gate holding brakes complete with enclosure, brake wheels, and enclosure heaters as specified. The contractor is responsible for the following for removal and disposal of old holding brakes; supply and installing new holding brakes, enclosures, enclosure heaters; supply and installing new cabling from DC brake rectifier to new holding brakes, and new cabling from existing Tainter Gate Controller enclosures to new brake enclosure heaters. Solicitation Number: W912P9-21-B-0007 is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation. There will be no public bid opening due to COVID 19 restrictions. This solicitation is Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code for the work is 237990. The SBA size standard is $39.5 Million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The only authorized transmission method for proposals in response to the solicitation will be through the email file exchange. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 13 July 2021. This solicitation package will be posted on beta.SAM.gov, which can be accessed at https://beta.sam.gov. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation or the Interested Vendors List (IVL). Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package or the IVL list will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at www.sam.gov in order to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Be advised that all interest parties MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database, www.sam.gov in order to receive a contract award.
