This scope is a description of services by the contractor to provide rigging and supervision for a rope access inspection team and to conduct non-destructive testing for various structural welds via rope access. USACE must conduct structural inspections of four (4) sector gates leafs at Canaveral Lock. Canaveral Lock is located in Cape Canaveral, FL. The inspections will be conducted in two (2) separate trips as outlined below. Two (2) sector gate leafs will be inspected per trip. During the inspections, there will be ongoing work by government labor forces to make structural repairs based on rope access visual and NDT inspection and findings. Following the inspection, the gate leafs will be blasted and structural repairs made and then re-painted. After structural repairs are made and prior to painting, additional NDT will be required on weld repairs.
