Bank Stabilization Project on the Big River This Bank Stabilization Project is being implemented for USACE in conjunction w ith the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The overall goal of the project is to reduce terrestrial lead contamination from entering the aquatic system and further contaminating dow nstream areas. This w ill be accomplished by providing stability to bankline and stream channel alignment through bank stabilization, in-stream stone structures, pilot channel creation, and riparian tree planting. The contract duration is 180 days. The Estimated Range (in accordance w ith FAR 36.204) is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. A selection w ill be made based on Best Value using the Subjective Trade-Off method. Site Visit is scheduled and mandatory. Please see Solicitation Clause FAR 52.236-27 for full details.
