This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This Sources Sought Synopsis is a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify Small Business Contractors with experience with various aspects of ground maintenance services. The NAICS Code for this requirement will be 561720, Cleaning and Janitorial Services. Responses should include a brief capability statement of no more than three pages indicating the experience and capability to identify contractors that could work shall consist of furnish all labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to clean, service and maintain sanitary conditions and adjust courtesy boat docks to include, but not limited to: mopping; shampoo carpets; waste receptacles, restrooms, service recreational areas, trailer dump stations, fountain and hydrants, sidewalks and building exterior, trailer dump stations, picnic shelters; fish cleaning stations; pipe chase; lights; and litter pickup/removal at Mark Twain Lake. Provide a capabilities statement including the following statements: A. Capability Statements: Note: Under capability statements below, in addition to listing general experience, specifically include a listing of any USACE projects on which you demonstrated the required capability, including levee projects. 1. Work shall consist of providing janitorial services for 55,000 acre federally authorized flood control project with over 50 different Project Site Areas consisting of high use public restrooms and shower buildings, litter pick up over large expanses of recreational day-use areas, campgrounds, beaches, hunter/fisherman lots, visitor center, and one large office building. Please provide past experience with service to extensive outdoor recreation facilities over a 120 mile area on a similar sized job. How many staff do you have available to perform extensive services within daily time constraints of an eight (8) hour day, seven (7) days a week during the main recreation season of April thru October? 2. The Project Site Areas are spread all across the flood control project. Please provide types of equipment and transportations to be used to clean and maintain the facilities. 3. Please provide examples of work plans to perform cleaning services for the Ray Behrens Campground and Day-Use Area: 6 restrooms (Men’s = sink, urinal, and toilet) (Women’s = 2 toilets and sink), 4 shower buildings (same building setup as a restroom, but with two shower stalls per side), litter pickup and removal, and adjustment of the courtesy docks. 4. Please provide types of products to be used to clean and maintain public restrooms. 5. This cleaning requirement frequently is performed among the visiting public in public recreation areas and require public communication skills for the cleaning staff. Please provide capability of communication and records of staff training, and any company requirements that show how quality communication is addressed. B.
